Dr. Relly Nadler is a compassionate and dedicated husband to Julie who has become late deafened in recent years. Never realizing he would some day need it at home, Relly learned sign language for his work with Outward Bound decades ago, before he met and married Julie. His knowledge of sign language helped get the ball rolling for Julie’s interest in learning herself as she started her journey of hearing loss and together they have embarked on a journey of acceptance and adaptation, learning (and relearning for Relly) sign language and incorporating it into their daily lives alongside spoken language. This dual approach not only enhances their communication but also strengthens their bond.

Relly has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is recognized for his expertise in Emotional Intelligence, Dr. Nadler is the founder of True North Leadership, Inc., where he helps leaders and organizations reach their full potential through emotional intelligence training. Within the hearing loss/deaf community he integrates EI principles to foster stronger, more empathetic relationships, equipping couples with the tools to navigate life's challenges together.

Recently within the ALDA support network Relly has helped members explore and understand the emotional and relational dynamics of hearing loss. His work not only transforms the lives of his clients in the workplace but also stands as a testament to the power of emotional intelligence in fostering resilient and loving relationships at home and in community groups.
